A 5’3” stallion Daddy was from Harlem, her momma was Italian I don’t see the challenge Of having two girls, you just gotta keep the balance I told her light that candle I heard you do yoga, I’m tryna see examples Yo ass is like a handle See us on the front page, that’ll be a scandal Take off this red shirt, then my flannel I need some head first, then...
Smack city, bitch. Smack, smack city, bitch.
You know what I used to do every Sunday morning? Listen to “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5. Corny, I know. But, this song is just so good. And fulfilling.

Four years from now, when I am walking in commencement (God-willing), I will look back and ask myself the all-important question: did I define Harvard, or did it define me? I hope it will be the former.

Went to the A$AP Rocky concert tonight with Jack Jack, Erica and Nadia. $25.77 was well worth the cold weather, standing in a packed arrangement for 2.5 hours, and getting several elbows, feet, and the occasional headbutt to the face. That concert was live, the crowd was bonkers, and the A$AP crew (well, mostly Twelvy and Nast) was vivacious. After being moshed for an hour, I can gladly say two...
How do you know what is beautiful?
I’ll admit. I am insensitive to a lot of derogatory racial speech, I mean, very insensitive, but some things I hear these are downright disgusting. I’m appalled.
God’s greatest creation: hypocrites. Greatest source of entertainment.

My father is a saint. God bless that man’s soul. Lord knows he’d die for my brothers and me. He never outwardly expresses it (he’s the complete of an emotional), but I can tell he’s proud of us all and that he loves us. Honestly, I nearly tear up every time I think about the troubles he and my mother went through to support my family. And my mother! Where would I be without...

As Martin Luther King Jr. Day rolls around, I want to take the time to thank my parents for showing me how important education is. Wisdom is the absence of ignorance and wisdom comes when knowledge is compounded with experience. I still have a lot of life left (God-willing) and quite a bit to learn, but knowing that I am on my way is important, too. In a post-Civil Rights era where racism is still...

There are two courses that I am looking for at my school. One in fashion and one in etiquette. I doubt that my school has both, let alone one, but I wonder how receptive they will be to the idea. If not fashion, I don’t see why they wouldn’t reinstate a seminar on etiquette. I mean, it was at the core of the classic Ivy league education.
Last full day in New York before I head back to school. I enjoyed my time off; had the chance to see some people that I truly missed and caught up on some much needed rest. I celebrated my entry into (legal) adulthood the way I wanted to and had good Chinese food for the first time since Lord knows (Boston lacks in that department). When I get back to campus, I will continue preparing for the next...
I now go by cookingsoul.
on Twitter, though. An underscore before, too.
I think I am going to exercise for 15-20 minutes every morning, except the days that I am going to the gym. I need to stick to a regiment.

“He can’t answer that simple question, which is not a debatable question. I don’t think you’ll find a biologist in the world who would say that is not a human life. The question is, and this is what Barack Obama didn’t want to answer — is that human life a person under the constitution? Barack Obama says no, well if that human life is not a person then…I find it almost remarkable for a black...

Going back to school on Friday or Saturday. I figure there is going to be more stuff to do there than here. Plus, I can get started on some work. So, I guess that starts the countdown.
